Had the opportunity to work on this project when I was working at ICON Creative Studio as Rigging Supervisor.
My roles in this project were:
Rigging Supervisor: Take charge of the rigging team for the whole visual production portion. Spearhead all the rigging workflows related to the show and set the standard of the work needed to be done. Teach, train and lead the juniors, intermediate and senior riggers on the rigging work and the show technical needs. Tackle complex character rigs, and coding. Coordinate with production and other departments to make sure our work runs smoothly down the pipeline and assist other departments as needed. Work in tandem with Pixar artist to develop state of the art handshake between the 2 studios in regards of blending our work together with theirs at the same level of Pixar quality.
